An outdoors morning

My turn to take Miss PHL in for her 7.45 train and due to light traffic I was in the country park and walking before . Beautiful morning to walk through the trees and I was home by just after 9 with my walk done and dusted.

Made porridge with blueberries for breakfast and had a wee audience as I was stirring and the upshot is that the puppy now likes blueberries!

After breakfast and a lovely restorative bath I harvested the last of the tomatoes which are now resting in the airing cupboard in the hope that they will ripen. That meant we could clear out the greenhouse - we had help from a four legged friend who has worked out how to slide open the door. That led onto pruning the 2 roses in tubs, the apple trees and the black current bushes - all before lunch!

Quiet afternoon sorting out washing and getting a bit of crochet done before making an easy dinner - spaghetti with meatballs and sauce.

Watching the repair shop - always interesting to see how the items look after they’ve been worked on.
