Invading the pitch

Well - the golf course.
As the weather seemed to have put off the usual procession of golfers, the deer headed over there for a bit of strutting and rutting.  The noise was incredible, so many large bucks making their presence known and the click-clack of antlers as some of them engaged in a bit of a fight. I chatted with a couple of the rangers who are hopeful of a good crop of youngsters next summer
