Autumn colours

I made myself go out a walk in the drizzly rain this afternoon as I’d spent too long staring at my laptop screen, especially when I have my online Japanese class later.
I trod the paths which became so familiar to me during lockdown and which I’ve neglected recently. They were very muddy in places, but the carpeting of leaves was very colourful.
