Adding a rim light!

Digital group today and we looked at two tutorials for adding a rim light .  I liked this one for the explanation of what we were doing but then got stuck in using the Camera raw filter in CS5.  So we transferred this one. to finish it off.  Had a few more problems !  But , having started with a pretty bad photo, I was fairly pleased with the result!!

Some excellent news today Em put  some more photos in to the Photographer's guild competition.  Last time she had one bronze award and this time three!  Others all classified.  She was so pleased!!  You should have seen her face!!

Lockdown from midnight Thursday!  A couple of car accidents locally.  I gather some younger youths are using the not so crowded roads to speed! Damage but as far as I can tell no-one hurt.  A bench that an old man known locally as Tommy sits on on Scout Road has been damaged.  People are collecting money to have it replaced.
