The long drive home

We stopped at Burton Dassett Country Park to break the long journey home. Delighted to find fantastic views and unusual rolling ironstone hills with quarrying dating back to Saxon times.  And toilets but disappointingly no cafe. We'll stop here again  and make sure to get our picnic lunch in advance from the service station in Gaydon near the M40 junction.

And then as we approached the Lakes it started to rain but we were welcomed back by a lovely (double) rainbow - extra.
