Pentlands

Continuing our vow to get out and explore this week, we went for a walk in the Pentland Hills. For those that don’t know the area, the hills start where Edinburgh stops - cross the city ring road and you’re there. We can see them from our house.

Not been up this way for a while. It’s not ‘new’, but the route we took was. And that route reinforced the knowledge that I need new boots - mine gave no grip whatsoever. Descending the wet muddy track was entertaining- I was like bambi on ice.
