Flowers

So today was my birthday. My older brother and his wife gave me this gorgeous bunch of flowers.

It was a very different birthday from normal. In the morning I had a hospital appointment for lung function tests. Since catching COVID in March, I've been short of breath so my GP referred me to the respiratory clinic. Not the way I would have chosen to spend my birthday but, as I had quite a long wait for the appointment, I didn't want to rearrange. The tests did show an issue with gas exchange in the lungs and I see the consultant next week for the next steps.

I had taken the rest of the day off work so I did get to celebrate my birthday with coffee in the park with a friend and no work!
