When the boat goes out

The bats circled at twilight as this creeler sputtered forth from Fisherrow. It was a surprisingly mild and still evening. All the boat spaces on the quay had been filled - there seemed to be more boats out of the water than ever this year. Tuesday’s video calls went well. The mail ordered pond plants arrived promptly too. A visit to a local store with its eponymous range reminded us Halloween, Fireworks and Xmas stock are all piled high!
