Into the Woods

I had a gorgeous walk in Wendover Woods this morning with Mrs C and Leia. I'd forgotten how lovely it is there. Checking back through my Blips I realise I haven't been there for five years!! (Look how tiny they all are!!) Where does the time go?!
It's a lovely drive over, I used to do it every week on my way to Sing and Sign in Stoke Mandeville or on my way to Watford but now I have no reason to :-(
I'm so glad we postponed last week when it was raining. Today was a glorious, sunny Autumn day. Perfect for a walk in the woods.
And then a lovely cup of tea in the lovely new cafe. It's all changed such a lot since I was last there - huge new better car park, swanky new cafe with a huge veranda area. 
Archie and Leia had a lovely time too. Archie does love a wood. And Leia loves wrapping her lead round trees and ignoring Mrs C!!!!
Miss L and Miss B break up today for a two week half term so before we left we booked Go Ape for them (and us, eek!!) next week. They haven't seen each other for ages and hopefully will be at secondary school together next year so it's nice to get them together. And the older ones will still be at school so even better!!!
