Henry West, lost his life in a whirlwind

Came across this in a graveyard in the middle of Reading today. I've never read of anyone dying in a whirlwind before. And I've never heard of there being a whirlwind in Reading before. I guess it's wise to expect the unexpected. (I'm probably being influenced by The Black Swan, which I'm reading at the moment).
