Angry Bird?

There I was, enjoying a cup of coffee this morning on the campsite lawn, contemplating my plans for the day, when two magpies landed close by. They then proceeded to boldly stride with heads held high right up to me as if looking for food hand-outs. I've never seen this sort of behaviour from magpies before. Needless to say, they got nothing from me.
