Just a little treat......

.....does one the world of good!  R suggested that we 'went out' today so we drove to Minehead, calling at Tesco as we noticed some friends of ours behind our car, so we had a short SD chat with them.  Then we bought a pasty and drove to the top car park on Porlock hill (see extra).  Ate that looking out over the sea, and goodness it was windy.  This seagull came and sat by the card, obviously looking for food.  The shot was a complete fluke but I'm pleased with it!  Then took a trip across Exmoor to Dulverton where I was able to visit my favourite shop of all time, namely Number 7.  It has a lovely cornucopia of books, cards, a few art materials, pottery, wrapping paper etc.  The owners just have the eye for lovely things.  As one entered we were offered a pair of white cotton gloves in case we wanted to touch anything.  Brilliant idea I thought.  We had a cup of tea and a cake at Tantivy and then we came home.....it's raining now but was a good day.
