Fewston Reservoir

A smashing October day for a morning walk around Fewston reservoir.
Last time I went up there, the level was down and the spillway was dry. 
We have had a fair amount of rain recently, but sometimes water board also sends water from from Thruscross reservoir further up the valley.

We took sandwiches for lunch, but also had ice creams at the end of the walk. The ice cream van in the car park was doing a brisk trade for October.
