Back blip

Did housework in the morning (cleaned our patio room), while Bb did a few hours work.   Made Mary Berry flapjacks with chocolate chips, using up the last of the Lyle's Golden Syrup - bad timing as we were just at the British Shop yesterday and didn't buy another tin! 

We stopped at this unusual door on our walk out in the early evening.  Home for a Skype call with Philippa and then hamburgers for dinner and.....a first for us - chips made in the oven with real tatties, drizzled with olive oil and Worcester sauce - quite delicious!  This must be the first time we've ever made chips at home.  A nice treat, but we don't to make a habit of it!
