spellbound

That is what we were this afternoon (spellbound) as we watched the 20 or so chimpanzees at Chester Zoo doing their thing. They were incredibly active and interactive with each other, although completely oblivious to us watching - even if this image looks like it otherwise!

We have just returned from skipping away for a mini-break (just 2 days!) with Sienna and it was fab. A sauna and swim in a ultra warm pool at the hotel, where Sienna literally became a fish, a quick shop to prepare for the eldest turning 15 on Tuesday, yummy food and a trip to the zoo. Just what we all needed - a change of scene before the next half term starts up again on Monday...
