A failed attempt at remote school

News arrived at the Ottawacker household that Jr. might be able to get online and start classes today. It's only mid-October, after all. 

I was quite optimistic after the travails of yesterday. Turned out that I was a little too optimistic.

Poor Ottawacker Jr. developed a headache and had to go for a lie-down after the first session. I could empathize. I was listening anxiously from the stairs, and was suffering in a similar way. Twenty-five kids all talking at once is not my idea of fun...

Hopefully this will improve. If not, it's back to the drawing board.
