Riparian Meadow*

Back in the Bosque before the leaves brown and fall.  This meadow makes a peaceful place I discovered yesterday in my travels.

*Thanks to blipper simisue for reminding me of a word I know/knew so well. In case you, too, have forgotten...A riparian zone or riparian area is the interface between land and a river or stream.  The Rio Grande river is to my right (west) just 200 yards away as I am looking south.
