Best laid plans.

The best-laid plans of mice and men oft go astray.


I planned to do a little tidying in the garden.  A bit of weeding and cleaning up the containers and maybe planting out the shrubs that had been in the same containers.


Didn't get to do any of it - the weather which started out so promising got more and more overcast, and my resolve dwindled even faster.  I am not gardener but I usually like pottering about, but my get up and go has got up and gone.


The blip is the other dahlia Hubs bought me in the summer, I love the colour of the flower and the foliage which is so dark it is nearly black.
