Drain

It was a beautiful sunny morning but by the time we'd had lunch and started walking it had clouded over. It was clear and dry though and you could see for miles - Jodrell Bank and Warrington power station silhouetted in a strip of sunlight on the horizon, too far away for my feeble zoom. It turned out there were still the remnants of the snow on the tops, especially in the deep channels, which was much more camera-friendly.

Had a chat with a fellow snapper learning how his new camera worked too and he pointed out the exposure compensation button but neither of us knew how/when it might be useful - will have to look it up.
