Schloss Arenenberg

Our first day of holidays and we still have the rented bikes. We made a tour around the hills and passed Schloss Arenenberg. If you look closely, you will see the french flag on the roof.The ex-queen Hortense lived there in exile. Also her son Louis Napoléon, the future emperor Napoléon III grew up in the house. Today it belongs to the canton of Thurgau and is a museum dedicated to these famous inhabitants.
