Diary of an Edinburgher

Plan C...

Off to BodyStreet this morning. I felt surprisingly OK after our evening in our wee bubble, with lashings of rosé and oodles of sushi.

Kate, my usual instructor wasn’t there, but a tall chap, Artem (?) who did a few different things, but was quite gentle with me. After I had finished my 20 minutes, he switched me on to a massage session, where I just had the electrical impulses, but without the exercises, and it was quite pleasant.

I then walked around to Bruntsfield, hoping to see the old-lady-without-a-cat that I met last week, but she wasn’t there.

The people I’d bought the trike from emailed to say that they will take it back!! *Phew* If they hadn’t, then I would have presevered with the rather unnerving quirks of three wheels. But I was relieved - they’ve even arranged the pick up!

Also sold a few tables on Gumtree. Four, to be exact. A nest of three, and, because they didn’t quibble about the price, I threw in the coffee table. They were a young Polish couple in a Combivan, so I knew they had the room to take it. They were laughing about their unexpected item, and they’ve just texted to tell me that the new tables make their living room much better. Nice of them.

I drove JR and Archie up the hill and left them to walk home. Archie had a bath, and he loves being towel dried and wrapped up instead of being blow dried. (He’s been playful today).

So, Plan C - I have another idea to solve the cycling problem...
