Who's that knocking at the door?

Managed a dry walk again!

It was rather overcast .... but no rain!

We saw lots of birds ...... including Kestrel, Chaffinch, Blue Tit, Great Tit & 7 Cormorants! Also a couple of squirrels well hidden in the leaves.

As we were walking back we spotted these chickens waiting at the front door .... couldn't resist blipping them ...... made me chuckle ..... it just looked as if they had arrived for afternoon tea!

We also spotted lots of Long-tailed Tits ..... managed to get this one as it was busy cleaning!

The bottom photo is a Red Grouse doing its best to hide in the field!

We had quite a surprise when we spotted a bat swooping over the river ...... I would have thought it would have been rather too cold (it was only about 10c) .... we watched it for quite a while before heading home :-)
