Smoke! Fire!

I pulled into a car dealership right when white smoke started pouring out of my hood of my car. I had been to the mechanic the day before because my heat was not working. They had removed the dashboard to get to the heat and in the process it seems that they left a shop rag in the engine.

So I pulled into the car dealership right when the smoke started. What are the odds that my timing would be that good. The head of service came out and with the salesman they looked in the engine and saw red embers below the smoke. He got a long thing and pulled out a burning shop rag.

I was there to look at cars and after the drama was done, the salesman said to me, "Well the value of your trade in went up now that the fire is out." Funny guy!

The photo was taken after the car was off and the smoke was slowing down. The initial smoke was far more dramatic but I was busy freaking out and did not snap a photo right then LOL.

No car yet. Have decided to go with a used Subaru and going to look at a couple of Foresters and an Outback on Wednesday.
