Where there's smoke

Across the city someone was not having a great day.
I had a busy day taking mum to a clinic for cataract surgery then spent the rest of the day looking after her. We have to remove the bandage tomorrow and then mum has to learn to put in the eye drops. In the afternoon I have to take her to her doctor to check her blood pressure as it went dangerously high during the surgery. I am hoping for a quiet afternoon.
