After last nights shocker at Rodney parade it was up to Newport to do the business. Todays guests were Swansea in the 2nd round of the Swalec Cup.

Well it didn't quite go to plan, It was getting close to the final whistle and it was 14 all. We were looking at extra time, the game was going Newports way. We had all the momentum, when a mistake meant the tides turned and Swansea found themselves in our half. Then it happened, we gave away a penalty and there was no way they were going to miss it. The game did restart with very little time on the clock, there was no way back for Newport, out of the cup we went.

Its very hard these days to be a Dragons and Newport supporter
