2020 Sunday — Dinner with Grandkids
When our granddaughter from San Diego sent us a message today asking us where we are — Central Coast or SoCal — I let her know that we had returned to SoCal yesterday.
She said they would be making a quick trip to Norco to her other Grandma’s house to retrieve some things she left there in August. We responded that we’d love to take them to dinner if they would have the time. So that’s what we all did this evening.
Justin wanted to go just a little further north to the Bass Pro Shop near Victoria Gardens and they wondered if we’d meet them at Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ. When we all got there at 6:30, we were told the wait would be 90 minutes. So we opted to go to Richie’s Diner a couple blocks away.
Well, the photo isn’t that great — the restaurant was serving all customers outdoors under a big white tent top due to Covid19 — but we managed to get us all into a selfie: Desiree, Emillia, me, Mr. Fun, Jade, and Justin.
Earlier today we had lunch with good friends, Les & Jody. We actually had not been together for probably 2 years. So that was a wonderful couple of hours together catching-up with one-another.
I hope everyone else has enjoyed their Sunday.
Good night from SoCal,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
