Shaggy Inkcaps

It was the first proper day of the holiday.  We should have been packing our bags for a week away and heading off  -  but it is not to be.
Instead we will spend the week at home, probably doing very little.  It was another grey and gloomy day.  I pottered  and did chores, TT did some work and BB played on his Xbox.
TT made panini for lunch which were very nice.  Later TT and I headed out for a walk.  My poor knee was really not happy as we walked along some rather uneven tracks.  I was relieved when we hit tarmac road, as it was much easier walking and my knee was not protesting nearly as much.  I do hope it settles down soon.  We walked back though Lennoxlove, admiring the trees which are changing colour and intrigued by what looked like some kind of arrangement to catch acorns – if indeed that it what it was.  Walking home through town we stopped to pick up some provisions for tea, which allowed TT to cook a very fine biryani and associated side dishes.  A real feast.
Later TT and I watched the first couple of episodes of the last series of Spiral.
We spotted a group of shaggy inkcaps – which according to this are delicious, but have a very short shelf life.
