Meeting a new friend

Still felt a little under the weather but getting up and out helped and I felt much better after walking to the local gastro pub. Think it was the thought of the breakfast roll and coffee but whatever helps!

Managed to finish off the ironing after a shower before Miss PHL and I took Phin to visit The parents of one of her friends - they keep horses and also have a 5 year old lab so it was a good opportunity to introduce the wee man to some new experiences. He loved the parents, was a little overawed by the older dog and pretty much ignored the horses. We did manage a nice walk round the fields with my daughters friend before heading home.

Nice steak sandwich for dinner followed by cheese and biscuits whilst talking to our son and his girlfriend.
