Himalayan Garden & Sculpture Park

Today's treat was a visit to the Himalayan Gardens near Masham. Although the sun was not shining, there was plenty of autumn colour and interesting sculptures to be seen.
The lower right image in the main montage is of an exhibit entitled 'Logs of dialogue'. It is meant to emphasize the need to wane away from 'monologues' and establish 'dialogues', and that terrorism is a product of non-communication between nations, groups, regions, religions and ideologies.
The second of todays extras symbolises East meets West with coconut husks from Goa on one side, and pine cones from Yorkshire on the other.

It's definitely worth a visit, especially in spring and summer when the banks of Rhododendrons and other flowers are spectacular.
Also, the tea and coffee shop is excellent too!
