Ullswater Breakfast

We were just going for a swim but we ended up doing bacon and sausage butties on the shore after our 1 hour swim. It was a cracking morning, no sun but all very calm, no wind, the water was almost like a mirror. There were other dafties at 7:30 when we went in and even more at 10ish when we left. People swimming, others with a Canadian canoe, paddle boarders and kayakers, all for free unless you cont car park charges.

I somehow managed a 45 minute walk in the. afternoon before cooking a chicken roast with accompanying prosecco, of course. I should sleep well tonight ( you would think).
