Appreciation

By Appreciation

In a cabin in a wood, a little old man at the window stood, saw a rabbit running by, knocking at his door.

I kept singing this childhood rhyme today as we walked. I was doing all the actions in my head too.

No company at the allotment today, he is awaiting results! There was little light and a dampness in the air which chilled my bones and didn't leave me.

There was also a large bag of a variety of apples left by an allotment neighbour. Between these and my own garden apples I now have to think hard what to do with the excess. Thankfully there are some Brambly cookers- oh that tartness, I can't wait.
