Skyline Pigeon

It was more "Mary Poppins" than Alfred Hitchcock's horror-thriller "The Birds" when I was shopping at lunchtime. This afternoon was spent reading and catching up on the DVD boxset "Madmen", just about to finish Series Three.

My album of the day is "Every Picture Tells A Story" by Rod Stewart. Leading a double life with The Faces and as a solo artist in 1971, his huskiness makes a clean sweep of musical genres on this album, my personal favourite was the coming of age single "Maggie May" and B-Side "Reason To Believe".
