Brown Booby Seabird in Pacific Ocean
Early this morning the "Queen Elizabeth" rounded the southernmost point of Panama, then headed NW, toward Puntarenas, Costa Rica. I love these days at sea...there are so many classes and speakers...hard to choose what to do!! We watched an "insight lecture" on Puntarenas, attended an "advanced Photo seminar", had a lovely dinner with new friends in their dining room, and then topped the day off with a deck party and dancing with "Synergy" at the Lido Pool area under the stars.
During the day I had fun photographing these "Brown Booby" seabirds which love to follow the ship. They are listed as a "rare bird" and breed on tropical islands in the Atlantic, Pacific , Indian and Caribbean oceans.
