Garden stroll
I found plenty to enjoy in the garden this afternoon.
The wayward rhododendron has put out a few out of season flowers this autumn. Just two flowers on each head, but they are no less beautiful for that. I hope they remember to come back in the spring. The tiny delicate fuchsia is easily passed by. It is not as brash as the bigger ones. The ivy berries make good shapes.
I roasted a pork loin joint today and it was very tasty. There is plenty left for us to enjoy on Monday and Tuesday. I’ve had a good long chat with my sister as part of my Sunday routine, and hopefully will have another phone call with son J later.
