Sunrise

When I opened the curtains this morning there was just a very faint pink tinge to the clouds - so I grabbed by camera bag and set off for my early walk - heading up the path alongside the A1(M).

This shot was taken just after 8 a.m…with the sun below the horizon from this viewpoint. I loved the big mass of cloud. As I walked a little further up the path the sun had just popped above the horizon and was shining an incredible orange light on to the hedgerow - see extra.

I washed and vacuumed Mrs madwill’s car this morning (I did mine yesterday)…and this afternoon we started some fruit infused gins…a raspberry and a blackcurrant. The strawberry stuff we made in the summer has nearly all gone….

Roast chicken for tea tonight….
