Bookclub lunch

Delayed hosting of Bookclub which should have happened in May to celebrate my birthday but we were in lockdown. Moved to September, the day after I was tested positive for Covid but happened finally yesterday where we celebrated not only seeing each other but a 55th, a 60th, a 65th and a 70th birthday.

Bubbles, crayfish salad and a black forest gateau, that turned way larger than I anticipated, all went down a treat. And now we have pudding for tomorrow’s braai with Sue.

Pity about our score in the quiz but what a great day.
