Crossing The Delaware

From Pennsylvania into the state of Delaware.  Jon and I on yet another road trip.  This time driving to North Carolina to visit with a niece and her family and to check out the coastal area of Wilmington, NC as a possible move.   We had planned to fly but with the airline cutbacks and Covid, our flight home got cancelled.  I for one am rather relieved that we are traveling in our own car, packed a lunch and are staying in one very clean hotel.  We'll arrive tomorrow at Jessica's home.  

I must say I was overwhelmingly grateful for all the stars and many hearts on my photo from last Thursday of the last of our brightly colored foliage along the river.  Thank you all very much.  

Excuse all the bug splats on the windshield - I guess our recent warm weather brought out a new crop.  Hope to have more imaginative pictures for the next few days.
