Beautiful sky.

A beautiful sky to start the evening. The days are beginning to close in now and we are only a week away before the clocks go back. There is much more of a chill in the air too.

My chicks are now very close to hatching . There are little chirps and a few have tiny cracks in the shells. Preparations for their arrival will need to be done on the morning!

The rams have now been in with the ewes for a few days and have been very busy boys! By the marks on the girls they must be shattered! Fingers crossed for a good crop of lambs!

Mr Tbay has been busy gathering all equipment and supplies ready to construct ‘chicktopia’ as miss H has christened it. This will be new pens for our ever increasing flock. Tomorrow he will start the construction!!
