11 days down, 3 to go!

This is how we have communicating with mum and dad for the last week or so, through the dining room window. They are surprisingly perky and happy given their extended, enforced confinement. I went shopping for Christmas cake ingredients for mum today, so I think that’ll be the focus for tomorrow. I resisted the temptation to buy the sprouts at the same time! I think that might prove to be an error on my part as Terry Wogan always used to advocate putting them on to parboil around this time each year! :-)
