Derwentwater
Ali and the Grandchildren came up today from the south Lake District. We went on a lovely walk up to Castlehead. It’s a short steepish walk through woods to a wonderful look out point, where I took the photo. It got very crowded when a group of about thirty young people arrived. They were all together with a leader. Don’t know who they were but they were a bit close to each other and to us so we departed pretty quickly.
We walked down to Keswick where it was market day, really busy.
I’ve not quite seen the need for a mask out of doors until today but it seemed like a good idea on the crowded pavements.
