Thank you for all the loveliness shown to Missy's magic yesterday. Almost made a trip to the coast seem tolerable.

A lazy start today. We forgot to lock Missy's crate last night so we were woken in the early hours for emergency cuddles.....
Errands and a lovely lunch. A bit of wood chopping and storing, some painting of the understair boards and then I thought I'd settle to some Admin and writing. Only to discover the computer seemed totally frozen. Rebooted it repeated, again and again and again. Much googling and Anglo saxin later I managed to get into the diagnostics menu.
"nothing wrong" said Microsoft.
"uninstall the latest Windows updates" said the interweb.

You can guess who was right.
Then much checking of backups and backups of backups.
What a waste of an afternoon.

Whilst the computer was whirring to itself I went for a stomp round the woods and found this lovely flash of colour.
