Don’t be fooled by the photo, it was a lot darker than it appears during tonight’s walk. Another shot of reservoir, but this time a little high up where there is a picnic table to enjoy the view.
It was that dark tonight Darren had to get his phone out and put the torch function on, especially needed when we walked through the trees. Darren despite his age sometimes as an over imaginative mind when walking through trees in the dark, he can often spook himself. He puts this irrational behaviour down to watching hammer horror films in his early teenage years, they always included dark woods where some characters would go run into in the middle of the night and then get attacked by Dracula or some other creepy character. Since those teenage years, horror films always pop in to his mind when in dark woods, it’s very very strange. As a dog I have good eyesight in the dark, so I’m not scared, I have to look after Darren :-)
