Juxtaposition

I had a lovely, lazy morning taking my time with just about everything, including a good meditation sitting. All that leisureliness meant that I was late to see Jiro Dreams of Sushi- I have a yen for things Japanese...

I found myself outside the cinema wondering what I was going to do instead. I wandered back the way I came and spotted this beautiful petal against the harsh street grate. What a contrast! I thought that this was going to be a blip afternoon instead of a matinée one and had a pleasurable time meandering around my city like a tourist, looking at the familiar afresh. I s'pose I have blip to thank for that attitude, so thanks!
