THE LAST FLOWER!

I rescued this rose called Abraham Darby from a very overgrown garden where we used to live.  It has done very well here and rewarded us with some lovely blooms, as you can see.  It has a delightful scent too.

Today I peeled 1 kilo of pickling onions, not a pleasant job.  But at least I now have a large jar of delicious pickled onions in time for Christmas.

Friday is cleaning day and I now have an aching back to prove it.
