Train Fan and a UP Challenger

Today while the glue dried on my house model's roof (for the Sn3 layout), I ran some N scale passenger trains.  Fortunately there was a rail fan at the crossing to catch the passing of the train and take a photo That is his blue Ford..

The extra shows the whole train.  Yes - it is too long for a small layout but I actually collected it to take to the National N Scale Train Convention and run on the modules there.  Plenty of space for it to run!

The model is one I have been collecting for years.  I had the UP Challenger in the greyhound paint scheme, and very slowly collected over a few years the matching passenger cars.  The train has four mail cars, a horse car (for Arnold the Wonder Horse) and coaches etc.  I always loved this paint scheme that the Union Pacific put for a brief time on their passenger trains.
