Hesperanthus (was Schitzostylis) and Salvia patens

Great colour combination in the burn border.
A really lovely sunny day and not marred by a slight easterly breeze.
Painted a little touch up on a window frame where it had previously lifted off the putty.
Can of rustoleum rust reformer paint arrived so gave the garden chairs and table a blast before they retire to the shed for winter.
Filled a hole under the rose garden with a sand / cement / stones and slate mix.
Didn't manage any lawn mowing - must do tomorrow, before the next rain.
