Like Father, Like Son...

... in more ways than one for this Catalan pairing! I debriefed their B5-PLUS personality assessments in a joint session and there were almost identical - only 2 points separated them out of a possible maximum of 60 on each of the 17 different factor and facet positions. This after they each answered two hundred and twenty questions on a scale of 1 to 7.  It is truly remarkable, indicating the genetic markers in this case are pretty strong!

This was part of a pilot to help young adults get some guidance as to their fundamental drivers as they emabrk on their studies and possible career paths. Also, to help their parents understand how their own drivers may clash in pushing their off-spring in directions that are not optimal for them. The wider benefit of this mutual understanding is to help them transition from an adult-child to an adult-adult relationshp in a smoother way.

The aim is to roll out to every 18-year school leaver, but we are at a very early stage!
