I'm Letting You into a Secret ...
A secret garden .... very close to the City-By-pass. It's a cafe with herbs, and other interesting plants (see the extra, I've no idea what it is). The cafe is in a large greenhouse, so very well ventilated, and lots of space between tables.
We've avoided visiting Edinburgh, since the circuit-breaker regulations came into force. But we had an email a couple of days ago to say that our energy-provider for the flat had ceased trading, and we had been allocated a new one by the regulator - I think it's the one we left a few months ago :-(
They needed a meter reading to move matters along, and although they know that we have a smart meter, they were unable to access it, and of course the paper-work with the relevant info was in the flat. So, we thought that made our journey necessary. And we had to have a lunch stop en route, and I needed a shot, and it fits the Derelict Sunday challenge (thank you, Marlieske!). So here is Brenda, whose meter has stopped running too ...
While TM was doing the necessary I had half an hour to do some shopping in Morningside - into a couple of charity shops to look for puzzles and games to amuse the granddaughters next week. Found a few, and actually bought the C******** cards too. Then a foray into the Whole Foods for rye flour and turmeric tea bags, not obtainable in the supermarket in our town.
A grand day out, by current standards :-)
