Me .....

in Guildford this afternoon.  Went to Fitsteps this morning and then we decided to go to Guildford to go to Zara Home.  I haven't been for quite a while and was surprised by how much it's gone downhill since the Summer.  We counted over 10 shops vacant just in the main hight street and the whole atmosphere was quiet and restrained, not the usual busy town it used to be.   On my walk through the local churchyard I see that the wall that used to be covered with the most glorious Virginia Creeper has been replaced by a new one ..... the creeper is no more :(
