Early walkies

It was a lovely start to the day as Elvis and I walked with Carmen. The extra shows them both collecting chestnuts!
Carmen's husband roasts them on top of the woodburner, peels them and eats them as fast as she can collect them, whereas Elvis just eats his raw, skins on!
I weeded and chopped down plants (mainly periwinkle) for the rest of the day.
